Overview

Joint Planning Committees (JPC) were created with the Villages of Merton and Sussex.  A meeting is required on properties located within one mile of the Lisbon border [Joint Planning Area] where development is proposed that would involve being platted, rezoned, or divided.

All applicants must be approved by Lisbon’s Plan Commission and Village Board, the other Village’s Plan Commission and Village Board, and the Joint Planning Commission.  It will be determined during your Planner’s Appointment if your proposal requires approvals by either JPC.
