3. When is Trick or Treat in Lisbon?

Trick or Treat is always the last Saturday in October from 5 to 8 pm. Those households wishing to participate should leave the porch light on.

4. Does Lisbon offer brush pickups?

Lisbon's Highway Department picks up brush beginning the third Monday of April. Your brush must be out along the ditch line no later than 6 am on that Monday. Please watch the newsletter for restrictions. Visit our Brush Pickup Page to learn more.

5. Is overnight street parking allowed?

Overnight parking is enforced between the hours of 2 AM -6 AM on all public streets, highways, alleys and public right-of-ways. In case of emergency, overnight permission may be approved through the Village of Lisbon Sheriff's Deputies. Parking violations are enforced by citations in the amount of $20.00. There are signs throughout the Village posted indicating parking regulations. There may not be a sign on your street, but the regulations still apply.

For your convenience, you may fill out the Village of Lisbon Parking Permission Form to notify staff of your overnight parking request. Overnight parking request can be made three times per month.

6. When is the Compost Site open?

The Compost Site is open on Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm and Monday evenings from 4 pm to 8 pm. Entrance gate is locked 10 minutes prior to closing to allow vehicles already inside to complete their drop-off. The site is open seasonally from April to November. Exact opening and closing weekends are posted on our calendar.

7. Who do I call about garbage collection and the disposal of old appliances?

Please call Waste Management at 262-369-3080. If you have just moved into a newly built home, please call Village Hall at 262-246-6100 to start your garbage pickup services. Please note, occupancy is a requirement before garbage collection may be requested. Regarding appliance pickups, please call WM directly at number above for pricing and special pickup information. 8. Where can I drop off old electronics and appliances?

Lisbon hosts an Appliance & Electronics Recycling Event on a yearly basis, usually in September. We update our website, newsletter and Facebook page with the event date, location and details. If you need to dispose of items immediately, please visit the Wisconsin DNR E-Cycle site to find a collection drop-off nearest you.

9. How do I license my dog?

Download the Dog License application (PDF), complete it and submit it with the required rabies shot information and certificate. Or feel free to process your application with our online Dog License form.
